If you'd like to hear more about my services, what's included and receive your personalised quote, please fill out the enquiry form and include as many details as possible
If you're happy to move forwards with the booking after receiving your quote, I'll send my T&Cs over for you to review and sign. Once I receive your signed copy, I'll send an invoice for you to secure the date.
Usually it's a little while before we will schedule your preview, especially for weddings booked in advance. Previews are scheduled around 3-6 months prior to your wedding. I'll reach out to you via email with my available dates. You'll also receive my prep guide to read through leading up to your appointment.
Once your preview has taken place, I'll check in to see how you got on with everything and if you have any concerns or questions. It's absolutely fine if you want to make adjustments to your look, big or small. I'll also send over my wedding day checklist for you to read through in advance.
A schedule will be sent over to you in advance, co-ordinated with your hairstylist and/or wedding planner (if applicable). I'll check in with you during the week of your wedding and keep communication lines open throughout.
All about payments
Bridal/nearly wed prices start at £500, including the cost of a preview. Wedding party members or additional guests start at £100 per person. Travel is charged additionally. Saturdays, bank holidays and all October dates have a minimum booking of 3 people or equivalent cost. For further details, please fill out the contact form with your wedding date, time, location(s), number of guests, and any other relevant info.
To secure your date, a non-refundable retainer fee is required. This is calculated at 50% of the total wedding day service cost, excluding previews and travel. I am unable to hold or reserve any dates without a retainer paid.
After the retainer is paid & your date is confirmed, the remaining 50% balance, along with travel fees and any additional costs will be due 2 weeks before your wedding date. Please note that previews and associated travel costs are charged separately and can be paid on the day of your appointment.
Things you should know…
UK wedding bookings are taken around 12 – 18 months in advance. If you’re getting married on a Saturday and/or during October, I recommend booking ASAP as these are the first dates to go. International/destination weddings are recommended to book 24 months in advance. If you’re looking for last minute availability, please contact me as I may be able to accommodate your date!
I am based in the West Midlands but I’m happy to travel wherever! Travel costs are calculated at 50p per mile (round trip) from WV12 postcode plus £15 per hour driving time. For locations that are 1.5+ hours away, or a start time of 7am (or earlier) a hotel stay or accommodation will need to be provided the night before. Locations further than 3 hours will require 2 nights of accommodation.
Absolutely! I'm always up for an adventure. For further UK locations (Northern Scotland/Northern Ireland) and international locations, I'll fly over. All charges that will need to be covered are listed below: - travel/mileage to and from local airport - airport parking - return flights including hold luggage - hire car or additional travel between destination airport and wedding location - accommodation (minimum 2 night stay) - travel day fee £100 per day (for time I am travelling and unable to take on any other jobs) *previews can be done the day before the wedding/upon my arrival to avoid travel charges twice.
I can accommodate the bride/nearly-wed and up to 3-4 additional people by myself, depending on timings. For larger wedding parties with over 5 guests or a ceremony time prior to 12pm, an additional artist or assistant will be required. I have multiple artists who have worked alongside me over the years. I’ll send over options and examples of their work prior to confirming - certain artists will be subject to availability. Alternatively, I’ll be able to send over recommendations if you wish to book a second artist separately.
Previews are a really great way to try a few options if you haven’t decided what you want. I’ll ask you questions about your makeup preferences, skin type and concerns, and details of your wedding I.e. colour schemes/overall vibe. This will allow me to have a better idea of what you want to achieve with your makeup look. It’s also a great opportunity for us to meet and get to know each other so your wedding morning can run as smoothly as possible. Previews are mandatory as I won't go in blind on your wedding day!
Previews are exclusive for booked clients only to ensure availability. Therefore, I'm unable to offer any 'stand alone' preview appointments.
I recommend scheduling your preview 3 - 6 months prior to your wedding date as by this point, you'll have most of the details sorted, giving you a much truer representation of how everything will come together on the day. I’ll contact you in advance with available dates. Appointments will be available Monday-Thursday, typically lasting around 2.5 hours . Usually scheduled for 11am but later time slots are also available.
No, I have a wide variety of products in my kit and I am able to cater to all skin tones, types and textures. However, if there's any products you'd like me to use e.g. your favourite mascara or lipstick, feel free to bring them along!
Of course not! I carry a variety of different brands in my kit, including vegan/cruelty free products. Currently, my kit is around 90% VG/CF and I'm actively replacing non VG/CF products with alternatives. If there are any brands/products that you know you don’t get along with, just give me a heads up beforehand. I’ll also need to be made aware of any serious allergies upon booking.
Kate was fantastic the whole time! My MOH and me went to her's for our trial run which was great fun. Friendly and professional which we loved. She worked so hard to make sure what we had was perfect. On the day she made sure to put more than enough time aside so she could get everyone's make up done perfectly with no stress and no rushing. Kate will become one of the girls by the end of your getting ready morning, we were all chatting and laughing together. I'm also glad I found an MUA who does alternative make up looks who was also willing to travel to the south.

kate was on my ‘non-negotiable’ list for our elopement and somehow still exceeded all expectations; not only was she incredible at both trial and wedding by helping my vision come to life and making me feel the most beautiful i have ever felt, she was also a crutch to lean on at our special day. we eloped just me and my husband and as well as doing my makeup, kate offered to help me into my wedding dress, do the back of my hair, took photos of us ‘behind the scenes’ and even was one of two witnesses at our ceremony. spending the day with her was like spending the day with someone i’d known for years, and she did so much out of her job description just out of sheer kindness. kate is so professional, kind, relaxed and also bloody amazing at what she does! i don’t think my wedding would have been even a fraction as good if we hadn’t had her there. i cannot recommend her enough and if you’re looking for someone to make you feel like a gothic princess (or any form of royalty, for that fact!) i doubt many will come close to kate reynolds and her mastery!!! kate, thank you so much for making our day so perfect, for making me feel so beautiful and also for just being fantastic company! you are an absolute gem of a person.
