Hey! I'm Kate, a Professional Freelance Makeup Artist Based in the West Midlands.

So, how did it all start?

My interest in makeup started from a very young age, at 7 years old, I became a synchronised swimmer and had to wear makeup for competitions and shows; sparking an interest in stage makeup and all things theatrical. As I got older, my ever-growing Halloween obsession expanded into a fascination for the macabre. My makeup journey started back in 2014, when I went to college for 2 years to study SFX, Theatrical Hair and Media Makeup. I've been freelancing & running my own business since 2014; since then, I've worked for some of the most renowned brands in the industry, including MAC Cosmetics & Pat McGrath Labs. From New York Fashion Week to working backstage at Download Festival, Eurovision and other international events, I've pretty much done it all! Along the way, I've also fell into content creation, getting to work with some of my favourite makeup brands, bands and entertainment companies.
